New policy about visa application from March, 2021

Since 15th March, 2021, the Chinese Government starts to provide friendly policy for those foreigners which get Chinese vaccinated and want to enter to China. The details are as below:

1.   If you finish the Chinese Vaccination and get the certificate, you can just prepare the normal visa documents for your visa application. No need to provide PU or TE letter from the province expert bureau;

2. Appropriately expand the scope of visa issuance for people coming to China for "emergency humanitarian needs." Applicable population: foreign family members of Chinese citizens or permanent residents, including spouses, parents, children and other close relatives living together (referring to siblings, grandparents, grandparents, grandchildren, and grandchildren). Reasons for coming to China: family reunion, support, visiting relatives, going to China for funerals or visiting critically ill relatives. Those who meet the above conditions can submit an application.

3. Holders of a valid APEC business travel card can apply for a business visa to the local Chinese embassy or consulate with the valid APEC business travel card and the invitation letter issued by the domestic inviting unit.

二、适度扩大因“紧急人道主义需要”来华人员签证审发范围。适用人群：中国公民或永久居民的外籍家庭成员，包括配偶、父母、子女和其他共同生活的近亲属(指兄弟姐妹、祖父母、外祖父母、孙子女、外孙子女)。来华事由：家庭团聚、赡养、探亲、来华奔丧或探望危重病亲属。符合上述条件者，可递交申请。

三、持有效APEC商务旅行卡人员，可凭有效APEC商务旅行卡及中国国内邀请单位出具的邀请函向中国驻当地使领馆申请办理商贸类签证。
